Waterstones

66 Scotch St, Carlisle CA3 8PN, UK – 01228 542300

Books! Love them. Good kids section and range of grown up books. Has a Costa too.

Always enjoy a coffee here when shopping in Carlise but they really could do with clearing the tables quicker. We arrived for a cuppa at about 2.30 on Sunday and there was only ONE clear table but not many customers

Bookcase

17-19 Castle St, Carlisle CA3 8SY, UK – 01228 544560

An amazing place. Exploring it felt like exploring a labyrinth where the walls were made of books. The building is amazing, and the amount of books, sheet music, and vinyl was astonishing.

This is my favourite bookshop. I can spend hours in here. Vast collection of second hand books on all subjects from old to newer titles
